Curriculum development as a tool for professional development

This study investigates teacher participation in national curriculum development Myanmar. The purpose of this is to explore learning and reflection during the process through collaboration communication. A qualitative research method has been applied study. Six participants participated individual interviews. include six school teachers from Basic Education High Schools, specifically, two developers, who delivered subject content new their colleagues were trainees for content. results showed that experienced significant professional knowledge, especially understanding connection matter across different grades pedagogical knowledge when they learnt colleagues. Moreover, also highlighted improvement reflective thinking analytical skills. Because challenging tasks process, became more motivated teaching which led enhance work performance.
